Born Jeanette Marie Pualani Zupkas in Hawaii in 1980, she took the name Lani at an early age.
Moving to California with her parents when she was 3, she showed great talents in her acting abilities, winning many awards and accolades in high school.
In early 2000, she met and fell in love with her soul mate-David Gough-and moved to his native UK, travelling the country, and pursuing her passion for archaeology along with Englands rich heritage.
In 2005 they returned to the US together to live permanently, and were married on a hillside overlooking the Pacific.

Throughout her life, Lani has proven herself an accomplished seamstress- from extravagant period costumes to stylish accessories, her work has been highly sought at faires and events,and in 2007 she began selling some of her items online.
